Anime, because the harry Potter fans are generally younger I think. If not that almost all hard core anime fans have swords.

Probably the Harry Potter fans simply because there are so many of them--and half of that number is young enough to have parents fighting for them, which doubles their numbers. Besides, most hardcore anime fans are out of shape since they spend so much time sitting on their butts watching the stuff.

Hard to tell. Kids got headaches from reading so much Harry Potter so it would be hard to tear them away. Conversely, anime fans have so much memorabilia and would be more concerned with that. Thy really wouldn't care enough to fight each other.

I went to the last two releases at B&N and have to say......Its your last chance! This is the big one! Besides crafts there are also puzzles and quizes to do, as well as competitions to check your knowledge against other fans ( I got beat by an 9 year old, I was 24, Ouch!) winner usually gets the first book! go in and make your reservation ahead of time, then when u get there u get a # and they call your group later to get your book. I usually get mine around 1a.m., I know its late, but do u really wanna miss out on the fun? This year should be extra good! lucky for me, I live in austria now, and will be in london for the release!! woowoo it just happens to fall on my birthday..Best Birthday Ever! By the way theres 0% chance of getting spoiled. They do not bring the books in to the store until midnght, and usually everyone is so excited to get reading they leave right away.

Anime. Obviously. We have ninja, giant swords, and way more guns.
And yes, I am talking about fans, not actual anime (well, maybe not the guns part). What we love is often chock full of crude and violent material. We love kicking @$$. And we can multi-task. We can love a broad spectrum of stuff at the same time. What the heck can Potter fans do compared to that? Bore us to death with trivia and bad Latin? We can kick their @$$ and blow their minds at he same time. Believe it!!

That is tough. I have seen anime conventionso of 15,000 people in Chicago. I have seen downtown Naperville swamped with people having a street fair for Harry Potter. LOL let both enjoy their vices.

I would have to say Harry Potter fans, simply because they are greater in number and income.

anime , anime is way bigger then harry potter.... i mean look at all the anime, anime movies, amvs, and games and then look at harry potter. and if they had a fight i bet all the naruto fans would pretend to be ninjas like my cousin -.-" -jutsu faker-
and inuyasha fans would bring fake swords and poke the potter people xD and there would be one piece pirates who would just dack the potters ^^

Anime, definetly hands down. Anime is far more widespread/worldwide, very well known & has been around for over 30 years. It has a much greater fan following (so much so it's insane ;)...there's no comparison.
