The opposite of Epic is Mundane.
Epic refers to something above and beyond the pale of everyday life.
Mudane refers to the most basic, least interesting parts of daily life. (That's a slight exaggeration, but it really suits the way the word is used.)

The word "epic", variously capitalized, is in fact a reference to and name for a type of poem, specifically one which relates a tale of heroism via an extended narrative. Many other uses of the term derive their meaning from a misunderstanding of the original definition, or are given to transfer the concept of heroism or an all-encompassing perspective to a thing, be it an artwork, a film, a battle, et cetera. Therefor, the opposite would be anything which first considers the miniscule, the superficial, the mundane, and so on.
