Your as a spiritual being are freed from your physical self and move on to begin the next phase of your life. Death does not exist. We are eternal/spiritual beings who choose to experience a physical/human existence, for the growth/expansion of our souls.

You do not lose 21 grams. That's a popular myth religious people like to support as evidence for the existence of a soul, yet no one can seem to cite what study that "evidence" comes from. Even if it were evidence of a soul, that only supports the notion of the soul being a material thing, not something mystical.

No one knows what happens when you die, in what manner your energy might be transformed. One thing IS for sure- other people's lives go on.

Alma 40:11 Now, concerning the state of the soul between death and the resurrection--Behold, it has been made known unto me by an angel, that the spirits of all men, as soon as they are departed from this mortal body, yea, the spirits of all men, whether they be good or evil, are taken home to that God who gave them life.

Alma 40:12 And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow.

Alma 40:14 Now this is the state of the souls of the wicked, yea, in darkness, and a state of awful, fearful looking for the fiery indignation of the wrath of God upon them; thus they remain in this state, as well as the righteous in paradise, until the time of their resurrection.

In the split second after you die, life goes on without you.

It will continue to do so, forever.

Get used to it, and get over it.

You're really not that important.

I was there briefly so I can tell you.
First of all I was bleeding to death. When I got to the ER my Blood pressure was 30/zero. At that point For s slit second I knew fear and anxiety. My ears buzzed and I lost my ability to hear. Then colors went to black and white. Suddenly I was in the brightest purest light you can ever imagine. It seemed like I was traveling quickly through it. My pain was gone. All fear and anxiety was gone. I didn't feel one bit of human negative feelings, insecurities or needs. It was a place of total and commplete peace.

I thought to my self.....wow this is the day I die. Cool. I really thought I would be older, but this is ok, it is really and truely ok.
I thought about how I had accomplished my goals in my life, I had three wonerful children and three grandchildren. It was really ok that I was dying. Then I fondly looked at my oldest grandaughters face, then in her brothers face and then when I saw the face of my youngest grandaughter I had a moment of hesitation.suddenlly I felt unsure. I wanted to hang on to the peace in the white light, but I didn't have the full peace anymore. Then I heard the doctor call my name and told me to open my eyes and come back ......come back .....come back he pleaded I reluctantly opened my eyes. I suddenly was in pain, I was scared, I was frantic, I was laying in a poor of blood. There was a look of terror on my mother's face. I was so scared. I wanted to go back to the white light. I closed my eyes to go back there. But I didn't get to go back. I still had time to live. I spent the next week in intensive care.
I know for a fact that I was on the edge of eternity. I took a step in to the eternal life space that only those who have gone before us can understand. A couple months later my youngest son died. I know he went in to that peaceful white light where he was not afraid and he was being engulfed by pure spirit, pure love, pure peace.

So to answer your question...at that split second after a person dies they enter a glorious light that takes them to spiritual eternity.

You exteriorize and go find another infant body, and start the process again. You never really "die". Your body does. You, as a spiritual being, continues to exist as you have for eons.

Who the hell knows? I guess split second would be technically incorrect becuase death is timeless, but what do I know?
