I want to move out next year and get an apartment, but the problem is I will still be under 18. Is it still okay if my parents just sign/pay for me?

It would be in Los Angeles, CA.

You could still be the lease holder, you would just need your parents to co-sign your lease. Its pretty simple.. good luck apartment hunting :)

They would have to list you on the lease and be a cosigner for you. You have to be listed on the lease because if anything happens and you don't pay, they are only allowed legally to evict the people that are listed on the lease.

If your parents will do it, simply have the lease in their name until such time as you turn 18.

You're not old enough to sign but if your parents take all the responsibility someone may rent to you.
