it depends on the person,i think!!but with many men when you show too much compassion they take advantage of it!![i don't know,maybe it's just the greek men!!]

Ok this is only my opinion.... I think true compassion doesnt look for or expect rewards. I think the act of compassion is its own reward. If you are doing something even if it is kind and for a good reason but are hoping to get some kind of recognition for it then how genuine are you being but at the samt time it is hard when some one doesnt show appreciation for what you do. So just remember always take the time to say thank you.

A few yrs ago I would have said OH YES!!! But now I realize that my compassion is not looking for a reward I give it, because that is what I wanted to do....It is nice to be thanked, makes me feel good...but I will feel good inside anyway..because I was there for someone..was loyal..and in someway I hoped I helped them.
