No
When I see a white person I have no assumptions of their character. If they can be decent and respectful to me, I have no hesitation in doing the same.

There's a difference between racism and prejudice. EVERYONE is prejudice! And people who say they aren't are fooling themselves. We all have preconcieved notions about people who are different than us, to be a racist is to take those notions a step futher and try to hurt someone based on them. Being proud of your race doesn't make you a racist, unless you are "anti" other races. I'm Scottish and African American and I'm proud of my heritage in all facets of my life. Stereotypes are there for a reason, and until we get to know each other on a higher level than the surface, people will always think that white people can't dance, black people like fried chicken, and chinese people can't drive. It's silly but, alot of people think that way and don't want to take the risk of getting to know someone for who they really are.

Being an Black American who has lived in the south, and has experienced a lot of racism my entire life...I can honestly say that I don't feel the same way that the dumb ignorant people that I live around feel. Hate somebody because they murdered, or stabbed you in the back, they're a hypocrit...not because their black and your white!!! Again, I know how it feels to be hated on, or have things thrown at you, or being called an ugly name because I'm a darker complexion...why would I be that way or have similar views towards another person just like me who hasn't done anything to anybody...but was born!!!!

i think i am a little bit, i have a lot of preconceptions about white people, asians etc. The difference is I am aware of my inherent prejudice, so I try to ensure that it does not manifest itself when i meet new people from other races. Instead I try my best to give everyone a fair go.

Hello this is MR Cash
The truth is every single person on this planet is a racist!!!
its not just black on white etc, its afican against african, europeans against europeans etc etc.
Its completely normal to prefer your own culture and race and to be proud of it.When that becomes threatened we act out.
Its all about how we deal with it that determines our level of racism!

I try my hardest not to judge people by things that they have no control over so I would say I try my hardest not to be racist.

No! My husband is of another race, my daughter is mixed, these things mean nothing to me. I don't care what color someones skin is, people are people. We all are born, live, die.

Yes, but not in a bad way...I chose to marry a white man because I'm white, and I generally prefer to hang around white people.
That racism is okay. Racism is NOT okay when you harass people just because they're of a different race.
