formula:
V = Area of Base times height
V = 1/2bh x 12 (1/2 because a triangle is half a rectangle)
V = 1/2 x 7 x 9 x 12
V = 378

hey. make sure you've got the rigth details! you say it's a 12 ft tall now ur mentioning some heigths??? the height of a triangular prism is actually how tall is the same triangular prism! maybe you mean:
THE PRISM IS 12 FOOT TALL WITH A BASE THAT MEASURES 7 METERS IN WIDTH AND 9 METERS IN LENGTH.....

try converting all given in a common units (say feet ; or perhaps all should be in meters) then use the standard formula.

got it?

base radius=7mts
height = 9 mts
volume=(1/3)pi*r*r*h
= 0.33*3.14*7*7*9
= 456.9642 mts^2

You really need help. It's hard to make a triangular prism with those dimensions.
