Ok, I know that you said that energy drinks aren't your thing and with all the caffeine and sugar that most of them have I don't blame you. But perhaps you could try XS Energy Drink. It contains no sugar and no carbs and there are even some caffeine-free flavors available. The energy comes from B vitamins, herbs and amino acids.
Unlike other popular energy drinks, the flavor is really good and it comes in more than one flavor.
If you'd like to try it, you can order it online at www.jewel.mychoices.biz

Guaraná is used as an ingredient in soft drinks and energy drinks and separately as a dietary supplement to promote health and weight loss. In addition, it may be an ingredient in other foods.
Guarana Seed Powder. In addition to other chemicals, the guaraná plant contains caffeine (sometimes called "guaranine"), theophylline, and theobromine. Water extracts of the guarana plant are central nervous system stimulants due to the caffeine content. Energy drink manufacturers typically add synthetic caffeine or caffeine derived from coffee decaffeination.

Ma huang is an upper, however, the side affects are much stronger than that of Adderall. If you are trying to treat ADHD, consider doing neurofeedback. For more information read The Symphony in the Brain - a little dated (there have been considerable developments since the printing of the book) but still valid. You can get more information at eegspectrum.com (eegspectrum is kinda slammed in the book, but actually they are reputable in the field.)

Green tea.
You can brew tea with Stevia
Or you can buy capsules at the local drug store. To keep it natual, use only green tea, not green tea capsules mixed with other drugs.
BTW, because the FDA doesnt regulate green tea, its not recommended for folks under 18.
Green tea provides energy, antioxidants and a natural boost.
Its suggested to limit other sources of caffenine.
WHEN i stopped using sugar, High Frutose corn syup and Cornsyrup, I had more energy.
If you eat a diet high in white flour and sugars, YOU wil have NO energy. those refined foods, zap your energy.
High Fiber and high protein and green veggies give me a boost that last for hours!!
Are you looking to get high or feel more energetic.
Drinking a half of gallon of water a day gives me lots on energy. In the summer time, i drink almost a gallon a day. Its cheaper than buyin soda.
