I'd have to consider the circumstances - if I was going to be vaporized by a planetary collision I'd definitely want to watch - if some freak was going to saw my head off with a butter knife I'd probably help things along

Depends how bad I got.
I probably would not kill myself because that would void my life insurance policy denying my family of benefits after I'm gone.

It would depend on how painful my demise would be. If I could end it painlessly and spare myself and my family a long drawn out painful end then I would just end it now.
