I got into UC Berkeley and USC and I'm trying to decide where to go. I wanna be a lawyer and both schools have their strengths.

UC Berkeley!! unless you prefer to live in LA...
They're both awesome schools with great reputations... but Berkeley is more prestigious... A berkeley degree is widely respected... If you are a California resident, the cost of attending Berkeley is a BARGAIN.... ~25K for a top-notch education vs ~42K for a top-notch education??? definitely 25K!!!!

I'm a student at Cal, and it's amazing. It's a huge bargin compared to USC, and the bay area is so much better than LA. ( :) or so everyone here thinks) There are many many many kids in my history classes who are pre-law. We also have the amazing Boalt Law School on our campus, and tons of Law based co-ed fraternities and clubs that really prepare you well for law school. Make sure to consider housing, social life, campus, neighborhood, student groups, etc.. when choosing a college.

Hope to see you at Cal!

As good as USC is, Berkeley is much better. Plus, who wants to wear maroon?

That's easy. Berkeley of course.

Berkeley has a better rep and is cheaper. Law school's gonna cost you more money. Why waste it unnecessarily in undergrad?
