I bought a Ouija board the other night and me and a few friends decided to all get together at my house tonight, light candles hit the lights and see what happens...does this really work?

Stay away! Opening doorways to the land of the dead might seem freaky cool but the only thing that is going to come through is going to be something bad! Once that something is with you you are going to be s.o.l. in trying to get rid of it. Do yourself a favor throw the damn thing out the window right now before you end up regretting it!

Ouija Boards do work. And if ur planning to use it, use it wisely. They do detect spirits but not only that also demonic spirits which are more with negative energy and the physical world so be careful.
I knew a friend whose family was going to get sucked in into the board because of some answer. Luckily they didnt and are safe. They would burn the board, break it, do anything they can to destroy it and the second day it would be under the bed all in good condition. I never had a Ouija board and never plan to have one because from what I know i don't even want to touch it. Just be serious about it and remember it is no game to play with the supernatural.

I don't think all Ouija boards work. I think you would need a very old one. There have been instances where a Ouija board has been possessed by a spirit. In the rare case you run across one of these, you'd better put it away. As for the ones you buy right off the shelf at a department store, nothing is going to happen unless someone makes it happen.

If you want a few chills, try summoning someone.

I think it does. I tried it myself and asked "Will I ever be an archaeologist?" And in response the board said S D. And I think it means I will be going to college in South Dakota or get a job there!

Oh yes it does. Some girls had one when I was in elementary school and they started playing with it on the playground. About 10 minutes after they started, the principal had to take it away because the girls were crying and bleeding from long scratches on their forearms. I'm not kidding I saw it with my own eyes. It was a girl named Heather. She is still freaked out about it to this day. Throw that thing away. Nothing good can come from it.

I don't really know, we have tried it as children and I do remember it was a startling experience. Especially eerie since I was the trickster in that company, and I know I did not push that stone.

Nope. The planchette movement is caused by the ideomotor effect, "spirits" have nothing at all to do with it.
