Lots of things, underprivileged, abused or mistreated children and elderly, anyone that has a non-curable illness, mistreated animals, dead animals on the streets, the children in foster care, especially the ones that are up for adoption that no one wants to adopt for one reason or the other. I could keep going but this should give you an idea.

yeah, sometimes things are just so terribly sad,
My daughter and grandkids were visiting.
Sunday I had to tell my gran daughter that her chihuahua was dead.
Her chihuahua followed her mother into a pasture where we have two donkeys. One of the donkeys kicked Bell in the head and killed her. My gran daughter had Bell since she was four years old. She is twelve now.
To make matters worse, her parents are going thru a divorce and that dog was her best friend.
Telling a child a beloved pet is dead will not only pull at your heart strings but break your very heart.

For some reason, every night when I go check on my 9-month-old before I go to bed, I just want to cry. He looks so sweet and it's just an absolute miracle how he came from me & my husband. I just love him so much - more than I can contain!
Now, when he's crying and throwing his dinner all around the kitchen at me...I don't have that feeling!!! (JK)
