I had a couple of ideas but i wanted to hear a few more. I'm writing a research paper on Nixon. And I need a thesis statement! What can I prove or agrue? Watergate? He was a bad person? lol idk Nothing too complecated plzz. thnx 4 the help!

How about his ending of the Viet Nam war and getting our troops home? Or will you get a bad grade if your thesis is not negative?

Thesis statements are best kept short and to the point;you can go into detail in your text. 'Was Nixon a Crook Because of his Role in the Watergate Scandal?' will do just fine.

Nixon really believed that he was not a crook and saw all his indiscrestions as failure on others parts and not his own. He never admitted ever doing anything wrong, but is considered one of the worst presidents in history.
