Wow. Exciting!!! I know you're nervous! Don't worry. You will do fine. You need some PAINKILLER, sister!! Get you some extra strength Tylenol, some generic, something! Get it and take it. No need for senseless period pain.

Eat as you normally do. Don't be all worried about what you eat RIGHT now. You'll learn more about performance nutrition later, but what you don't want is to try something new right now. Do things as you already do on your best days, on good days.

Listen to your coach. Peace and Godspeed!!

Pasta probably wont help much, it's just a 200. Just get what you would consider a good night's sleep and drink however much you normally drink. Just maybe eat something like a banana an hour and half before and warm-up before the meet with a jog of some sort and a couple of 40m sprints.

Aleve is the best for cramps! Try a tampon instead of a pad. Eat some carbs, but not too many. Good Luck!!

my coach always said maccaroni/spaghetti is good to eat, and drink plenty of water. don't over eat though.

relax. breathe. you'll do fine.

there will be plenty more track meets. good luck tomorrow.
