I'm worried about my daughter's behavior and myspace involvement. How can I get her password? I heard of a keylogger program. But I can't afford to purchase anything. Any ideas how to get her passwords?

I answered this same question, and I'm not sure if it was you or not who asked the other question. But I'll repost here. And would everyone try to be nice and answer a question, or dont' answer at all..Be nice. Besides, the way I understand it, I'd trust my family, it's the others trying to hurt her I wouldnt' trust, and that's why I would need to keep an eye of my family member....
Wow, you sure got zinged on this question. Hehe. Sorry though.
I guess I'm the only one with an answer.

I dont know what "keylogger" programs are, but I did find one program online that would seem to be what you are mentioning. Here is the link: http://www.cyberpatrol.com/

I hope you are able to watch out for your child. I have seen tons of that dateline's "to catch a predator" and hope that in helping you, I could at least help to save one child.
Shame others dont' want to help...

Psh. You don't need no key logger program. Come on now, you're her mother. Step up and get her to tell you her password or go to her and tell her to log onto myspace and then just look through. Don't sneek around, you are no kid, show her who's boss. Your the mother not the daughter so show itl.

Easiest thing to do is to restrict her internet usage.

Going behind her back to get her password seems a little extreme, and it isn't going to help your relationship with her.

Why dont you in basic terms installation some parental administration application on the computing gadget? then you definately can demonstrate screen her interest, good application permit you recognize each little thing she does on an identical time as on the computing gadget.

I understand that you're concerned/worried but that's totally violating you and your daughter's trust in each other. If you're honestly concerned just ask her if you can sit next to her/watch what she's doing while she's on myspace one day and if she says no for whatever "suspicious" reasons, limit her internet usage... There's no need to spy on her.
