What exactly is this "truth"?
It appears that whenever people believe in some sort of religious dogma, don't really know why they believe in it, and are afraid of their beliefs being challenged, they try to hide their complete not knowing of what they're talking about by calling it "the truth".
I'm not saying that's what you're doing; it's just been my experience

I am not afraid of much other than what the USA will be like when Bush is done with it. No other country will respect us, the dollar won't be worth a peso, and illegals will run rampant. Everyone will go around shooting each other, Iraq will never be any better, and Osama will attack us again since he has immunity from the US. Our kids won't be able to compete education wise with 3rd world countries, we will still be dependent on the oil made by those middle-eastern countries, and the environment will implode.
