2 questions about my pirhana?

1. do they like the light or dark more
2 should i change the water in my tank completly like take all out and if so over wat period of time

Piranha prefer dim lighting and about 12 hours of light with about 12 hours of dark or near dark.

For changing water, do a 25% water change weekly and clean the gravel with a gravel siphon as you go. Those are available at any decent pet store.

Pirhanas tend to like the lights dim but not a dark tank. Use some floating plants to dim your lights and be sure to leave a nice large open swimming space in the tank. Don't change all the water at once. Do partial water changes as needed, of no more than 25% at one time. Here are 2 links to popular types of Pirhanas.

WOW you have a pirhana? they are illegal in most states! huh I'm not sure if they like the light or dark! most likely the light! Ummm when you do a water change do a 50% and try to suck up most of the poop and the uneaten food! do that at least once a week if your feeding it meat and stuff! WOW that's cool I would love to see pics if you have any!

the interest is cloudy and falling out! probable is pop eye. you will get pop-eye drugs from a community puppy keep. yet another difficulty I used became metro plus with maracyn plus, probable the first difficulty ought to help maximum assuming it is what it really is.
