If it were up to me I would have kicked her to the curb in week one without even hearing her sing, solely on the basis that if she wears one of those nasty disgusting tongue rings they she probably sucks in general and making poor decisions is probably her strong suit.

So you think poodle dresses and odd body piercing and tattoos are equal relative to the times? Also, if a lot of people do the same thing that makes it acceptable. That dog just won't hunt. Check back with me in a few years after you grow up and raise a few children. Wise up kiddies.

Wow...yeah okay. No, it was not just bc of her tongue ring. You proved that yourself by saying you would have voted her off in week one just bc of it, so obviously she was a good singer to make it that far. I think it was bc shes a rocker at heart and the whole Tony Bennett night didn't suit her or her style. Yeah, she had a bigger more distracting tongue ring in that night but I would doubt that was why bc everyone knew she wore one. She still sounds great. You shouldn't judge someone based on looks....

F.Y.I Brent W....
Those weren't tattoos on her arms that was the design on the sleeves of her shirt!

Wow aren't you extremely tuned in to today's youth culture!! I dont think the tongue ring should even be an issue unless its Senior Citizen Idol. Take a look at the top selling pop artists ....Fallout Boy, My Chemical Romance, Justin Timberlake, Black-eyed Peas ..just to name a few. Tattoos and piercings are mainstream now and the older generations need to accept it......i mean im sure y'alls poodle skirts raised a few eyebrows.

Wow. You're pretty bitter. Did some chick with a tongue ring turn you down for a date or something?

i thought she was just yucky overall. did you see the tattoos on her arms during the auditions and earlier in the season? they seemed to have disappeared, though. i never liked her singing. good riddance.
