If I know them well enough, I will correct them. If not, I will let it continue to eat away at me until I finally snap.

Correct them the first time, but if it still happens, ignore it. It's not rude but sometimes it may just be an accent.

I tell them in a very polite way that they are continuing to mispronounce a certain word♥

Mispronunciations are one of my biggest pet peeves. I correct people's pronunciation, spelling, and grammar all the time. And, to answer your question, no, it is not rude to correct someone's English because you are saving them from a lot of embarrassment in the future.

I have 0 self control, so I def correct. I fig I am helping them more than hurting them. It also depends on who the person is, you ever talk to someone who was blissfully ignorant? well those kinds I avoid!!

it is not rude to correct them but if they do it all the time and you correct them all the time it begins to become very annoying

I just ignore it.
no reason to embarrass the other person.. not everyone is from YALE, and not everyone really cares, as long as they get their point across.
