I agree with you 100%. Bush is an idiot & should not
be making medical or scientific judgements without
the proper education in either field.
You seem to be correct, Bush has his nose in bringing
life into the world, uses people to lose life, but obviously, could care less about the accomplished life inbetween.

What does one have to do with the other??
The war is not on the people of Iraq, it is on the terrorists in Iraq that are planning to come over here and invade other countries, to kill a lot more innocent people. Remember 9/11? Unfortunately, innocent people happen to live in Iraq, as well. And the innocent people are not being targeted. MOST of the innocent people killed in Iraq were not killed by our troops, but by insurgents.
Stem cell research is the purposeful killing of one life to aid another.
They are not the same at all.
WISE UP!!

There have been three times as many young men killed in L.A.in the last 5 years than were killed in Iraq.I am an American soldier and trust me,I know what I am saying. The highest quality stem cells are retrieved from umbilical cords anyway,so the whole argument is really about socialism, not abortion. The people I kill in Iraq would SURELY kill you as quickly as me if they got the chance.I am standing in the gap,and I will take the bullet meant for you if necessary.

Bush is against federal funding of stem cell research. Why? Because the republican platform is against the use of babies for scientific research.
Stem cell research isn't banned. Any public and or private laboratory in the country can do all the research they want. Just about every college can to. They just won't get federal funding.

The babies (fetus') used in stem cell research do not have a chance to choose whether they want to be a part of stem cell research or not. The soldiers do have a choice since they enlist in the armed forces.

These are two completely separate issues. As it happens, I agree with his stand on Iraq, but completely disagree on stem cells.
