oh man...seriously take an anthropology class...its informative...really.

Well all mammals(us included) according to the theory of evolution share a common ancestor...no we didn't come from chimps and apes...we primates just share a common ancestor.

Homo Sapiens came about after many millions of years of adapting to our enviorment. Primarily standing upright was perhaps the biggest advancement because it not only helped our survival...but it also contributed to the development of speach and culture.

There is a lot of debate as to how we evolved and came to be who we are as a species today. Since there are missing links in our taxonomy and phylum (historical evidence of our ancestors through common trates)

i believe a good wikipedia search is in order for you!Srsly get a book on Physical Anthropology...the answer to your question is not that simple.

Humanity evolved in Africa and spread around the world from there.

We actually all (allegedly) are descended from ancient Sumer, which is in the Middle East. The idea is that people migrated and their appearances changed to match the environement--eg if you lived in an area without much sun, you got to be very fair so that you could absorb as much as possible.
