It's almost not worth it because you put so much time into it and the next day it's filthy again. Between the salt from the snow removal and then the pollen in the spring and summer, the car is ALWAYS dirty the day after you wash it. I try to sometimes get it through the car wash at the gas station, but that's expensive too.

In Australia where i live, many cities have water restrictions and you are not allowed to wash your car or even water your gardens.

Hopefully it will rain again here enough that the restrictions can be lifted, but until then....

I guess where you live there is plenty of water.

because when you wash it this time of year you can't get it home without getting it dirty. All the salt from the winter and puddles from the rain - that is why people generally do it in nice weather...

I haven't lately b/c it was raining everyday. Now it turned cold again and I can't wash it. But it's not too dirty anyway.
