Lord of the Rings, I'm afraid. I'm a Tolkien baby, did my teething on the hobbit at 8 years old and the work that man put into his work! Can't help but admire it, though most of it remains lost on my lack of intelligence. He created an entirely new language, granted it was based on the ancients but he thought it through to every last detail. He created Middle Earth and for many, it does exist. Meticulous in his research and re-creation of folklore legends, he allowed each of his readers to escape innocently into another realm altogether and gave us the reason to accept it as reasonable fiction. What Hollywood did with it ... I don't even think Hollywood existed when he began writing, but it is one of the few classics Hollywood didn't trash completely. As far as cinema goes, they kept integrity as best they could.

Batman (they are making a clean one with Christian Bale...Yahoo), quickly to be Twilight, and Dr. DoLittle (the third one grow to be along with his daughter...i think of this one grow to be in simple terms as humorous because of the fact the others. i like those You reported too! Star Wars, I like all 3 but if I had to Live in one of them my best chance for success and survival would be Star wars.
