ok this is an answer to your religious question, but it was closed and i wanted to answer...sry
First i just want to say that i think a good book for you to read would be "the case for a creator" by lee strobbel with jane vogel.
i read it a few years ago and it helped clear a lot up. if the original book is hard to understand(cuz it can be) there is also a student edition. if you don't like to read you can get an audible version. here's a link to help you find it easier :
audible - http://www.audible.com/adbl/store/CJProduct.jsp?productID=BK_ZOND_000137
regular book - http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product/?item_no=41449&p=1010575
i understand totally on where you're coming from...cuz walking on water and noah's ark and all that does just sound like crazy stories. and evolution just seems so much easier to believe. but actually science can't prove the theory that we were evolved from monkeys...(reading the book i recommended would give you more hard core facts)...
the part of evolution that is impossible is micro evolution, macro is true...cuz things do change over time, elephants, humans, etc. but one species can't change to another. elephants can't one day be a giraffe, likewise a monkey be a human.
the idea that the universe came into existence by chance is..well it's like this..
if you put all the parts to a computer in a giant bag and shake it...and shake it..no matter how long you shake it..all those pieces will never become a computer... our universe is so complex how could it all just be chance...it's perfect and if anything changed we'd die. if the sun was moved anymore closer to us we would all burn...and anymore further we would all freeze..so how could it have just been randomly there, exactly where it's supposed to be? same thing with gravity..if i was one decimal more we would be crushed, once decimal less we would not be able to stay together...how can it be that perfect by random chance?
there's so much more i could say, but i don't want to go forever..lol...so i really hope that you read that book..it does a good job at letting you believe which one you want..it gives both sides, and shows the weeknesses and strenghths of both. hope i helped..

Hello , I would say this dream is trying to give u information about possibly past life ties to Atlantian roots , sort of via mermaid movies, in mass consciousness. Never "fear" dreams always ask for Spirits guidance to the information they contain ,and the answer is all ways truth. I suggest you relax and take life a little easier by floating downstream ( quit struggling -paddling up stream ) listen to your inner guidance because actually that is what is sitting on that throne of power that is stored in your consciousness yet you do not allow or accept the guidance it holds for you , and that is why "it" appears dead and encrusted , --- waters always represent "emotion" so also you have , most likely suppressed this valuable tool for life and feeling in this picture as well. Much Love to you , I see Life in this Man on the throne and you are ready to receive Love.

I think that the going down to the bottom of the ocean might mean your friends draggin u down (the fish swimming around being your friends.) the coral throne may suggest that you might be the leader of something terrible that may end up killing you (which is y u r dead in your dream)
im not good at this stuff so ask a professional or try some dream interpretaion sites

Wow. Fascinating. I don't think that it's a death dream though. Why do you think you are dead, as you sit on the throne? This is fascinating imagery.... Water pertains to the emotions... I'm going to have to let this one percolate for awhile, and see if I can come back to it later....the throne imagery doesn't sound consistent with being dead, I would think if that were the case, you would dream of laying in the water, or in a boat on the water, dead instead.....can you offer any more detail on it?
The phrase "emotional calcification" keeps rattling around in my head. Would you happen to be a water sign? Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio? These are signs that have to develop a psychic armor, so to speak, tender, emotional people, that are easily hurt, and easily overwhelmed by thier emotions.... To be submerged in the water, would indicate immersion in a world of emotion...the word "freeze", or "frozen" is bugging me as well, bit I am having trouble trying to figure out what is being said to me, so I guess I will have to come back to it....The phrase "seat of consciousness" keeps coming to me in relationship to the throne...That you are immersed in salt water, as opposed to fresh water is pertainent also...salt water represents the amniotic fluid, and also tears....I keep coming back to some part of you being in a state of suspension.... You know, when a grain of sand enters an oyster, it encrusts the oyster with a coating of calcium, creating a pearl. This protects the oyster from the gritty sand. This is a very tough one to interpret. The best I am able to come up with to summarize the stuff above, is that when you have something emotionally painful, you create a sort of barrier around it, in order to more easily live with it, it protects you from being completly immersed in it, holds things that are painful to you in suspension. The self on the throne was not your entire self, only a part of your self, as you were present in the dream, floating through the water, and viewing the scene as an observer, of not your whole self, but a part of yourself with a barrier growing on it, and being held in suspension, does that make sense?

No. generally dreams are not literal. Death is generally a symbol for change, great change. Oceans and water a often symbols of birth or rebirth, like baptism.
If you are Pagan or Polytheist in any way, I would say that a Water deity is calling to you. If you saw sea horses, I might say Poseidon, but.... I would look up water gods and goddesses and see if anything grabs your attention.

No. It means you like to swim but are afraid of commitment. your afraid of being swallowed by the collective consciousness and being molded into something you are not. try this go to the ocean rent a small boat that you can operate yourself and go out as far as you can. If you leave your comfort zone you might find out something new about yourself and rid your subconscious from these nagging dreams forever.

dreams are keys to what is going on inside of your spirit. the sea creatures sticking to you could be past situations that you've not delt with-barnacles form on things left in water. And death in a dream just means rebirth or change in outlook.

I doubt it's prophetic or anything!
I think I read somewhere that bodies of water represent your emotions and how fluid they are. But I can't speculate as to why you were dead! Yikes.
