To try to discern the facts and the players and the interests and pray on it asking for Gods guidance, then to realize I must not lean on my own understanding; but acknowledge God in all my ways and trust that He will direct my path.Provers 3:5-6

It seems to me that if you sit around thinking of ways to convince people that you're more right than them then you really need to back up and check your ego.
Aren't we supposed to be able to listen to the opinions of others and respect them for their individuality and feel safe knowing they will do the same for us?
Why do we always feel the need to convince someone else we know more than them?

I kinda leave it up to my subconscious. It chews on a question for a while and then gets back to me. That's my reasoning.

circular reasoning, definitely.
Also, taking things to be self-evident.
Very nonlinear approaches to reasoning are most preferable.

I make the other person feel stupid and that in itself through mental superiority and intimidation is what usually wins my battles.
Or I just slash their tires.
