No, it's not true.
I have numerous dreams where I die either at the beginning or in the middle. Usually, it's painful; and I wish that I did wake up; but at least once it's over, the pain stops and the dreams get really interesting.

well, from one who dreams every single night (and very realistic dreams), I have been close to dying but obviously, never got around to it. I heard that a long time ago and I guess the most obvious answer is that there is no way to tell because if a person died in their dream and in true life they just never woke up, they will never be able to tell if what the dream was!. :-)

Well i have to say that i dont recall a dream where i have died, but i have never really thought about it.
Maybe if you die in a dream, it means you are actually dying in real life.
I dont imagine it would be impossible though

I had died various circumstances in my objectives. Dreaming of lack of life regularly exhibits some thing on your existence coming to an end, even if some thing actual or an emotional transition. I had one very sparkling dream that I nevertheless bear in mind each and every element to. i became at a kin reunion and this unusual guy grew to grow to be up wearing a lengthy coat. He then pulled out a gun and began capturing all and sundry round me. very almost all and sundry i'm close to to became there. i became the merely one alive and became hiding behind a tree. the guy discovered me and knelt me down, i became shaking and crying uncontrollably. He position the gun on the decrease back of my neck and suggested "Why are you crying, i am going to shoot you too' I calmed down without delay. Then he pulled the set off and that i ought to genuinely sense the bullet burn through my dermis. Sorry if it is too brilliant, it turned right into a difficult time in my existence. even nonetheless it turned right into a thoroughly horrid and terrifying dream, i became shaken for days, it felt surreal. My existence became so a lot more advantageous perfect after that dream. of route evidence that you do not bodily die in case you die on your objectives.

Ive heard that too. Ive heard that your mind will not allow yourself to "watch" yourself die in a dream. Ive had a few dreams I recall where I'd be falling or a train coming at me and I'd wake up so personally I think its true.
And to the idiot that said "people die in their sleep all the time" he question was IN YOUR DREAM not in your sleep

I have dreamed things that should have killed me but I was still alive in the dream....so I guess not. Once I got eaten by a lion but I could see out from the inside of him...that sure was a sicko dream!

You can die in another world but you still live in reality. That's what's so great about dreams.
