Wisconsin has the slogan (the dairy state) and for many years it was just that. California has been claiming the title of beong the largest dairy state.

Dairy products are produced all over the nation and can be delivered any place in the USA very quickly.

WI leads the nation in milk production, but I think that CA leads the nation in cheese making, by volume. Or its the other way around, can't remember.
