Small island on the horizon, very little chance of rescue, enough arm strength to only take one of the following and still be able to swim - A crate of spam or a case of whiskey?

I would take the Spam so hopefully I could use some to catch fish and small animals on the island (for more food).

I'd open a bottle of the whiskey, take a quick slug, then jump in with the crate of Spam and swim for the island. Once there, I'd lure any indigenus critters with the Spam, domesticate them, and train them to distill Island Whoopee while I construct a waterwheel and signalling device with the flattened tins!

The spam. After one night with the whiskey, you'd be so dehydrated you'd want to die. With the spam, at least you have a chance to make it awhile just in case of rescue.
The whiskey. Drinking it might be dumb, but you could clean your wounds and stave off infection for a few days just in case of rescue.

Man, what a toughie! Going to have to go with the whiskey. There is the likelihood that there is food on the island. At least I could fish for something. The whiskey has so many uses from annihilation to use for killing germs. Yup, going for the whiskey!!

i'd take the whiskey because id i have very little chance of rescue i might as well get rid of all the worry by drinking and just have fun starving and dying on a deserted island.

i will defiantly take the case of whiskey. I have to be drunk so reality want kick in that I'm totally f***ed. I will do what Tom Hanks did in "cast away" and build a boat and have a soccer ball as my friend. But i will probably go crazy if i cant be near my son.
