I think what you mean is 'Can I become an flight stewart DESPITE being from Kerela'.
I'd say why not.
Also, you should try for airlines flying to the Gulf. They will have a lot of Malayali clients, so might prefer you over others.

Why not? I think being from kerala could be an added advantage especially for flights from Gulf to kerala which are the most revenue generating routes for most of the airlines.

I found many stewards based from Kerala, not only in Air India but other foreign airlines also. So why don't for you?
If you have the hospitality industry background/certificate then apply for this job. Also try on the domestic airlines such as jet airways, air sahara, air deccan and indian airlines etc. Visit their websites and upload your CV. Meantime try to learn foreign languages as well as English that will be a distinctive advantage for this position.
