We are a group just starting and we want to expose our music to people but we dont know if the songs are good, so please listen to them and let us know. Give your opinion good or bad about each song, tell us what your fav. and just your thoughts on all 4 of them I know I cant give everyone 10 pts, but the answer with the most judgement in each of the songs (weather you think they are good or bad) will ge the 10 points.

Deja Vu and She are both pretty hot. The other two are mediocre at best. I'd drop both of them and start from scratch. Deja Vu is definitely your single, as She is more of an acquired taste (people who have already heard a lot of rap will probably like this one. otherwise, they won't know what to think of it). Push Deja Vu, but do a little work to it in the beginning. Since it's your strongest rap, it needs a solid, gripping intro. Just something to get my attention. Oh, the biggest turn off about Fly Like Me is that the rapper sounds kinda weak, almost like he doesn't mean what he's saying. Re-do the whole thing and spit it with fire (like you want it to be a hit) if you want to make anything out of it. I didn't think the third track was any good at all. Hope that helps.

Fly Like Me is a little slow.. almost, sluggish. Like its trying to be on the down low but it's a little TOO low.. you know, either pick up the tempo or drop it a little, it just seems to not be either one. And the rapper sounds too disinterested. Needs more spirit, if you know what I mean.

DejaVu kicks @ss.. needs a little more umph! Like, he should be looking at a really hot girl in a magazine while he's spittin that rhyme, he doesn't seem to be FEELIN, it. Its like he's READING it. You ever hear Candy Shop by 50 Cent? Sounds like he's drooling over the girl he's talking about. I'm not convinced this rapper is drooling. But EXCELLENT beat and tunes.

Nothin to Lose - bored me to death in 10 seconds. Thats a CD space filler at best. The rapper on that track should go back to rap school. I'm not convinced he's feeling what he's saying.

SHE has potential. Tighten it up, make it sound more professional and it has potential. I encourage this rapper to smoooooooth out his style and not sound so "choppy."

There you go. Opinions from a white lady who's been listening to rap since the Sugar Hill Gang came out in 1981. Good luck, I think your hard work will pay off. You have the foundation, now smooth it out, fill in the cracks and make it shine like chrome, and it'll sell!!!

Im not sure if you were aiming for an R&B approach to Fly Like Me and Deja Vue, but their beginnings arent too catchy. I think you need to make them a little more introductive and add a couple more high tempo beats. In most recent rap sucesses theyve had more of a crunk influence so add that. The other two were good though. Keep it up.

Try sending a demo tape of youself to a few record companies and let them know what clubs you are performing at, if any.
To be completely honest, the songs with the least profanity are the most appealing.
Profanity in music has lost it's shock value, and anymore it's just offensive and it lowers the artistic value of the music.

I liked the first 3, wasn't fond of "She"

My thoughts on the the first 3, swap your leads out on "Deja Vu" & "Fly Like me"... The voices just seem to fit the songs/lyrics better. If they were the same voice, swap the processing.

Song 3..Nothing To Lose ..Lose the Choir effect, make it a solo.

Just my thoughts.....everyone else might think it's fine.

I think you guys are pretty good. All of the songs have a good song. However, I don't like the lyrics. The voices don't seem to go with the song.
