What about this I came across on some link:
Skyscrapers
Cresting the skyway brow
Suddenly there stands a crowd
A host of gleaming towers
Black at the roots
Nematodes
Shriveled in their shadows, walking
Wild Einstein clouds
Expound from shocking top corners
Falling, falling relatively through blue
As I did for you
Time expands, reeling
Space folds down, diminished
To strings and wormholes
Without your warm, certain presence
In three, wholesome dimensions
I am all at sea with these buildings
Unless you anchor me
You, my gravitational constant
Telling me up from down
So I may walk through the valleys
Of my home planet
Keeping balance
Between rooted earth, adventuring sky.
Good luck

SKYSCRAPERS
The giants look down on the lilliputans,
Stationary and seemingly also gazing up
These are not giants with terrible looks
Their serene and impressive looks
Adorn our streets, their crowns lick the blue sky.
In the day time ,they befriend the sun,
Casting a shadow of joy on us.
In the night, they increase number of our stars
And bring their glow nearer to our brow;
Having the moon as their love
Our streets are warm and more friendly
And we yearn for longer nights.

Skyscraper, she is very tall
Lean out window and you'll fall.
To the sidewalk, far below
People watch, and see you go.
Down to Street Level Entrance B
When they get there, all they'll see
Is failed experiment from science class:
A demonstration of falling mass.
