Chinese Ivy (Cardamine lyrata):

Brazilia Pennywort (Hydrocotyle leucocephala)

Both of these are true aquatic plants and should give the look you are after. You might have to train them around the driftwood a bit as they grow as they won't actually attach to the drift wood like Java moss would, but they will look like you want. Be careful of what you buy. Many plants , like the Plagiomnium sp. mentioned above, that are sold for aquariums are not really aquatic plants at all and will die before long in a tank.

Well, all of the different mosses (java, flame, willow, etc) really look like vines if you look very closely to it. Theres a plant that aquaticmagic sells on ebay called Plagiomnium affine. If that is not the one you are looking for, you can try plantedtank.net. They have a plant index. Hope this helps!
