You can give it to your baby anytime between 7 and 9 months. Its safe to give because its just cultures not whole milk. Your baby should do fine with and its full of calcium. If you're unsure just give a little and see how your baby reacts. Hope this helps.

Do what makes you feel comfortable. I gave my son yogurt at about 5 months and he loved it and still does. I personally don't believe in all that BS about waiting till 1 year to give milk or milk products. I was raised on whole milk from when I was born and I'm just fine. If you see red spots a little after giving it that means the baby is allergic so stop.

7 months is just fine, there are all kinds of yogurt out there that is good for your baby. I'm not sure why would you be worried about whole milk. I had all 8 of my kids on whole milk by the time they were 7 months old. When you put your baby on milk from formula it must be whole milk until they are two. They need the whole milk to develop their brains. I know that sound funny but its true.

My son is also seven months and just yesterday my wife and I spoke to his pediatrician about the foods he can eat. We were told he shouldn't get any cows milk until at least a year because of lactose intolerance and/or listeriosis.
She also said we can begin him on some stage 2 baby foods, including one type of meat. She said "no" to Cheerios, but "yes" to Rice Krispies mixed w/breast milk.

Wait until your doctor gives the go ahead for dairy. Normally around 1 year. I wouldn't before your 9 month checkup - ask then

As soon as you've decided to stop breastfeeding exclusively (if you ever were).
The only thing you have to remember is that whenever you introduce ANY new food to your baby, make sure you only introduce one every 1-2 days. That way if you do notice any allergy, you'll know which food it was that caused it.

Put it like this, a baby doesn't need teeth to eat yogurt.
