Are we truly free or are we only free to do what the government says we can do?

Unfortunately our freedoms are limited. If we don't believe in liberal thinking, they make it a criminal offense to express it.
If you want to pray in public, Christians and Jews cannot do that but Satanists are free to sacriliously demean these religions.

Liberals are free to slander anyone disagreeing with them but Conservatives will be ostracized and condemned.

We tolerate sacriligious 'art' but we try to outlaw flags, crosses, manger scenes. We can teach our children about oral sex, abortion, birth control but never make them feel badly by teaching the morals of right or wrong.

We must respect others religion but we abandon our Judea/Christion principals on which we were founded.

We truly live in a society that call wrong right and right wrong.

I'm afraid the idealistic, liberal fantasy of an Utopian society has to be tempered with a few rules and regulations.
I think if we are asleep at the wheel, we may well get the government we deserve.
It's time for a little participation in our representative government - and perhaps a little accountability from the representatives we elect. As long as half of us vote and the country is led by a 25% "majority" - who knows what surprises lie ahead.

I agree that it`s important for any country to control terrorism,but this is being used at least in America to collect all private information of regular citizens.Be carefull. with what you say on the phone,what you say online,etc,etc.
So,my answer is no.We are not completely free.

yep we are free to do everything that doesnt heal you, help you, make you feel good, . cant drink cant smoke cant go to a christmas play because it may piss off mexicans or jews etc
