i am 18 years old and i first found a small lump on my right testicle about 6 months ago... it then began to get extremely painful (like i could not move without it feeling like i was kicked in the balls).. i went to the doctor who took an ultra sound and tested it and whatnot and said that it was just a small cyst that would take care of itself.. now, for the last couple weeks i've been noticing its still there and it has grown in size and is beginning to get very painful again, and i dont know what to do.. what could this be?? and i have another question.. that same testicle is a lot lower than the other and sits funny in the sack.. like its turned on its side or something but has been this way for quite some time i think, is that normal?

First of all the testicle will naturally be lower due to the weight of the mass you have. Its imperative that you get another ultrasound done, and most importantly get a second opinion. With my experience in the medical field, the most immediate thing I would advise is to get an other ultrasound FAST.

To answer your other question, it can be anything depending on your sexual habits. It could be a benign tumor straight to human papaloma virus, and thats a WIDE range. So to answer your question on what it is, you will not have a definite answer until you get another ultrasound done. All the best.
