I am so mad that Gina was voted off! She was 100 times better than Sanjaya. He wasn't even in the bottom 3! What are people thinking?

Gina got kicked off correctly this week... except Sancrya should have been gone about 7 weeks ago and Stephanie or Sabrina should still be there.

Sanjaya is the first person of his nationality on American Idol... it's not racist, it's just fact...he has a large fan base. People are drawn to other people who are similar to them. When you were in first grade who did you make friends with? Usually it was someone physically close to you whom you saw similarities to yourself. Proximity and similarity. Two main components of attraction. (And attraction doesn't mean you necessarily want to "do" someone)
I got news for all of you who think that this is a true "singing" competition... you vote for who you like: the hottie, the person from your home town and in some cases the person who you think will win. After all everyone wants to back a winner.
