anyway, i think the hottest rumors for me, are the Vince Carter Trade, KG Trade, Pau Gasol Trade... they all want wins, obviously, but couldn't get it with their teams. and yeah, the Joe Johnson Trade with Phoenix(if ATL isn't in the top 3 then PHX will trade Barbosa(i think or if not, Diaw) to ATL)... man, what can Phoenix possibly ask for? they have all they need, they don't need a first round draft pick from the Hawks. ANd of course, teams tanking games, trying to talk to Kevin Durant or Greg ODen... Even MJ was accused of negotiating with Durant and he was fined.

Actually there are a lot, all for the off season though. Some that are possible and some that can't happen. Possible rumors are...

1. KG. His rumored departure out of Minnesota. T-Wolves ownership will try to keep him by getting rid of Kevin McHale, but with no championships in their immediate future he'll be traded in the off season, maybe on draft day. Bulls, Spurs, Suns & Nuggets will be interested.

2. Jason Kidd. With one more year left on his deal. NJ will be sure to trade him. Getting nothing in return for Vince, because of sheer incompetence. This won't happen with Kidd. Look for them to resume talks with the Lakers and Clippers.

3. Coaches are always on the hot seat in the off season. Look for these guys to be sweating very heavy after the season...Mike Brown, Cleveland, Scott Skiles, Chicago, Lawrence Frank, NJ, Maurice Cheeks, Philadelphia, Jeff Van Gundy, Houston & Rick Carlisle, Indiana.

4. The Chicago Bulls. They will make a addtion to their team before next season. They will shop Nocioni's rights (restricted free agent), and another player with the 1st round draft pick for a low post threat.

5. Grant Hill. Rumored to be going to the Celtics after the season in a trade or the Celts offering him the mid-level exception (about 4mil.) at one year.

6. Charlotte will attempt to sign or trade for one or two big names in the off season. Needing to boost revenue, and excitement in Bobcat Basketball. Look for them to show interest in Vince, Jermaine O'Neal & Paul Pierce. They are one good player away from contending for a playoff spot.

RUMORS TO PAY LITTLE OR NO ATTENTION TO...

1. Tracy McGrady to seriously look at back surgery. He has been bothered by spasms for the better part of 3 years, and will have off season tests to determine what the problem is. Surgery is worse case scenario, but rumors are he'll look at it.

2. Celtics to fire Doc Rivers and make run at Larry Brown. This rumor makes no sense due to Brown being employed by the 76ers as a "consultant"

3. Any trade tallks involving Carlos Boozer.
