I am really scared a paranoid I am driving with a bubble in my tire. What does it look like? Because my tire does have this weird-looking thingy in it... it is like a cut... like a separation I think that's what's it's called? It's very small... But it's a bit bumby or lumpy I don't know how to explain around the edges where it looks cut but it's not cut because I'm not loosing air so what is it and what does a bubble look like because I am afraid of driving now.

Also the pedal vibrates while I drive what does this mean?

Thank you.

It means you need a new tire. It is a bubble or seperation and it needs to be replaced. If you have a warranry on the tire take it back and get another one. It can cause a blow out and you may loose control of the car and get involved in a crash. Do it now.

a bubble is a buldge in the side wall of the tire as far as driving on it it will be fine but a good idea will be either to change it or put it on the right rear of the car until you can afford it it will make it safer than having it on the front but get it changed as soon as possible the vibration in the pedal could be a broken cord but broken cords normally give a steering wheel shake so the tire is probley out of balance with this buldge comming out of your tire a tire has many layers between 4 to 10 layers so depending on how many layers are cut it will buldge out with the other layers if you need to continue driving on the tire drop the pressure in the tire about 5 pounds of air this should create less pressure on the outside of the tire and making it last longer but it will wear on the out side of the tire more in the tread pattern a car tire normally has 4 layers hope this helps sincerly josh

That doesn't sound good. Any tire that looks like it is cut is not good. Depending on where it is will determine if you can have it patched up or have to replace the tire. From what you wrote, it sounds like it might be thin rubber. I don't remember which side is more critical, but if it is either on the side or on the tread, it could pop easier. That isn't good esp. if you are driving on a freeway or are driving fast. You should have your tire checked by a professional. Drive carefully!

A bubble will look like a small bubble usually happens on sidewall from hitting a big pot hole. but also if the tire looks warped when spinning it could have a shifted belt witch usually happens from a defect. both of these conditions at highway speeds could be deadly because the tire can burst and cause you to loose control.

Soundling like a broken belt. If you don't feel safe driving it, take it to a tire shop and have them take a look at it. They deal with it all the time. If its something that just there and not doing anything against safty (doubtful) they will know, and if it is, then they will be able to aid you in the most knowladgeable way. This is one of thoes things where you have to see it, to know the extent of what its doing.

You should be nervous...a tire has layers, you outer layer is cut open and the inner layer which is weaker is bulging outward through the cut. Obviously, you need a new tire or at least put your spare on.

The pedal....what year and model is your car?

Yes, sounds like you have one, not to smart to keep driving on that tire. Get a new one. God Bless.

~If I was you I would keep driving on it and worrying about until it blew, forcing me across the centerline thereby causing the schoolbus full of kindergarteners to swerve to miss me and consequently plow into the van full of nuns which was following me. But then, I'm not catholic and I hate kids. PTL
