not necessarily, some women may like entry in a manhole. Personally, I prefer a man in my hole OMG I can't believe I just said that *wink*

Because when they first started that no women wanted the job or could have the job so they didn't need to worry about what to call the holes under the city that women went into...they didn't. My second run-on sentence of the day.....?

haha good question its just means its a hole for a man as in an electric guy to work in but woman hav the rite to go in ther too maybe its cuz ya no back then women werent allowed to do all the things men were so maybe it was made when men were in charge and it just stayed that way... ask ur teacher or sumtin but i was happy to help such a good question

It depends on the woman, if theirs is a manhole or a womanhole. Name it what they want.

It is a desecration to all women to call it a manhole! I will go out and petition to call it a "personhole" immediately. End women's suffrage!
