For almost 2 years now I've had brown spotting between my periods every month. I have about a week during my cycle without any. My periods are on time and normal. My doctor put me on hormone pills but they didn't work, he also put me on birth control. I've been on them for about 3 months now and there's no change. I have no idea how to stop it. I'm only 22 and it's extremely irritating. Does anyone know what this might be?

I had that and it could be a few different things. You could have cysts on your ovaries,endometrosis or a fibroid. Tell your doctor you want an ultrsound so they can find out what it is. There are differerent treatments that they can do for you. Insist on having this done,there is no need to suffer from this. Good luck.

it could be a tumor or you could be ovulating. Does it happen around the same time?
