I can't see through them... they're just black on the other side. This keeps happening in dream after dream..

Looking through a window represents insight and attitude towards life. What you see out the window - whether it's a positive or negative view - suggests how optimistic or pessimistic you are in general. im guessing that seeing black wasnt really a positive thing for you. so could it be that you want something to happen but are pessimistic about the situation?
If you dreamed of a locked window, consider which side you were on. Being locked out often represents some troubles of your own making, or that someone is keeping secrets from you. Being locked out also suggests that you will have a change of location.
i cant help you more because you didnt give details but i can tell you that the reason why you keep having these dreams is because something that has been troubling you for a long time is getting to you and probably wont go till you take control of the situtation and solve it. if you gave more clue as to what was happening before you saw the windows then maybe id be able to help some more but for now that's all i can help with. sorry:(
