The Allies were a group of countries allied to fight their common enemies. The Axis was also a group of countries.
Axis: Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Romania, and Japan
Allies: Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Indian Empire, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, and the United Kingdom (including the Crown Colonies).
This is just a partial list - more countries joined the Allies as the war progressed. More countries also left the Axis too.
