Well,

I got two Guinea pigs..They are fine and all

But, I was wonder about how long will it take for them to
start liking me?

They just run around in the cage when I try and pick them up.
(Witch I know it normal for babies Just gotten ones)

So...About how long...Saying I hold them/Play with them Several times a day.

Thanks.

They're small, they're weak, and their claws are too low to effective defend themselves. All in all, they're prey animals. Their only instinct, under any disturbance to whatever is happening at the moment is to run away and hide.

This will never change. You may get them to "trust" your hand when bringing in food or, perhaps, pet them in the cage, but 99% of all guinea pigs are just going to run away when you attempt to pick them up no matter how old they are or how much they trust you.

I would say give them a month or so to get acclimated to their new environment and you. They are skiddish animals so even once they are used to them, the might still run and hide if you are too quick in your approach to them. Just talk sweetly to them and approach them slowly and give them lots of treats. They will love you in no time. Mine lick my face. It's cute.

I agree with Ina if you keep doing what you are doing for about 5-10 days they will sow affection, but if you give them treats and when they eat them petting will help and it will show that everything is going well!!

just keep doing what your doing. They need to get to know you and know your not a threat. they dont like to be picked up because they fear they will fall but once your holding them they should be okay.

In my experience, most guinea pigs never like to be held. If you leave them alone in their cage and just talk to them and bring them treats, they will squeak at you when you walk in the room and be happy to see you. My daughter had one who seemed to like being held, but otherwise, they just like to be talked to and fed treats.
