1 million liquid cash
1 + million credit limit that can become liquid cash
be known by the company executives

have an excellent credit history, no flaws
have nothing bad in the closet, no skeletons
Then as an owner you will collect on average 5 cents on every dollar that comes in the door.
Few can get a McD's franchise, one of the hardest to get and can take upwards of 6 yrs to go through the process. I state this on being a store mgr for them, best friend was a store mgr and a supervisor. And that friends father tried for 12 yrs to gain 1 franchise, even though he was a big wig at Ameritech, turned down over n over again.
Subway is an easy franchise to get into and right now with so much against fast food, they are booming again like they did when they first opened. Snappy Tomato Pizza is another good one, small, upcoming and very cheap right now. Or if in a bad/poor region, a Little Caesars Pizza place is still able to be gotten.

It's not hard to own anything as long as you have the money to buy it. MacDonald's franchises cost a ton of money. If you think you can buy a restaurant franchise and be on vacation all the time, good luck to you. You'll come back from one of your trips and find that the whole company was stolen right out from under your. Smart business people keep a little better eye on their businesses. Most successful restaurant people work a ton of hours.

go to the mcdonalds website and look up franchises.
The last time I priced it up for one in the UK was about 1996 and it was going to cost me over £800,000 which was more money than I could raise at the time!!
That would be about $1.6 m at todays exchange rate!
However, when I was a Mcdonalds manager in the UK in 1982 my restaurant was taking around £20,000 per week!

The franchise fee to start a McDonald's is $45,000.00.
You will then need to invest between $500,000 to $1,600,000 toget all the equipment and such.
