The water down here in the Gulf of Mexico are now at 75 degrees, according to local news, so I was just wondering how warm do they have to get to produce tropical cyclones.

Greater than 26°C. I don't know that archaic fahrenheit system.

From what I've heard, about 82 degress F (28 degrees C).

each degree warmer generates double the risk ,
then air temp and wind direction , current upflow ,even magnetic field disturbance ,and ionic radiations and cloud cover
inversion layers ,and atrmopsheric electric conductivity ,even particulate concentrations
