How do you MAKE lucite? I really want to know. (Lucite is a plastic, by the way. I want to make flat, regular, colored jewelry with it.)

As Lucite is a plastic, it isn't something you can just make in your kitchen or craft room. Making plastics is a very specialized process requiring the appropriate machinery and equipment.

Hobby Lobby sell lucite jewelry kits for not to much. You might try getting one of those. After you use the materials in that kit they may have a website where you can order replacements.

try buying lucite beads off ebay and melting it down, that'd be about the easiest way to make flat jewelry. That way you can use the beads you don't melt for detail. Lucite makes GORGEOUS jewelry. You'll have to send me a picture of whatever you do.
