pepper mill....I love the fresh taste on just about everything on my dinner plate. Even salads.

On the table, a pepper mill, but by the stove, pre-ground. Fresh pepper tastes better when it hasn't "cooked" in, while pre-ground doesn't really matter.

McCormick sells pepper in a mill relatively cheap. I use that until I run out. I have preground for cooking and back up!
