im not even sure if it does, but according to most people it is, and i need this information for an essay. please be exact. or, if you have any helpful information that may help me, or even know of any good places to find information, it would be much appreciated. my essay is actually a perswasive essay that gay marrage should be legal, but i need to know the facts of both sides.

well it says somewhere that god made adam and eve.So i guess intentions were for man and woman.If not it would have been adam and steve or eve and mary

i have never read any particular scripture in the bible that directly addressed the issue. but as a christian, i see how their is evidence to support the statement that gay and lesbian relationships are wrong and against God. proof for me is the fact that God made Adam and Eve, a female and a male. the only way to naturally reproduce is with a man and a woman, not with homosexual relationships. that alone is enough proof.

It's in Leviticus, "Thou shalt not lay with a man as you do a woman, it's an abomination!" This comes after a long list of perverted sex acts (father-daughter, mother-son, etc) none of which were called "abominations" because, the rabbis claim, the acts themselves were natural, even though they involved forbidden mates. 1 Corinthians 6:9 says : effeminate (KJV word for homosexuals) will not inherit the kingdom of God. Romans 1:27 -28 talks on men leaving the natural use of woman and burned in lust one toward another, how he turned them over to a reprobate mind...hope this helps

I doubt if Deut Ch 2 is vague enough for some but the Truth is Truth.
It does not matter whether you accept Truth or what your opinion is on it.
I may not approve of taxes but the Truth is there.
I may not approve of painful births but such is life.
it is one thing to go against God's will and sin. I do it every time I react in a negative manner to insults and hypocritical thought.
I don't try to rationalize it nor deny that it is wrong.
I accept I did wrong...try to better myself thru my mind and my behavior. But most important I do not try to convince the world my wrong was a right.
If others would do this all the therapists would need another line of work.
If more people faced Truth they would not be angry or try to belittle those that speak Truth.
I don't try to find loophole in the Bible, nor deny the power of God. Nor do I dare to play word games with the word of God.
I don't expect God to bow to my wishes...that would be wrong.
If you wish to play word games with abomination just refer to Webster.

i will add to what the others have said here.JESUS came to uphold the law not destroy it.the new testament does not invalidate the importance of the old testament.the old testament all pointed to the birth of CHRIST and his crucifixtion he JESUS was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.that is why we dont offer lambs,sheep or doves anymore.but GOD has said I AM THE LORD I CHANGE NOT so he has not changed his mind about things like the destruction of soddom and gmorrah because of the rampant and defiant homosexuality of the time.peace.marriage is defined as between a man and a woman people need to quit polluting the gospel of our LORD with their own agenda.GOD will judge.AMEN

not directly, theres somewhere in the bible where it mentions the rules of another group of people, and there it is, along with the rule that you cant wear mixed fabrics, if i lived by these rules, i would be going to hell. oh yea, and if i believed in god.
