indiana here too, daffodills blooming here. they will be ok, at least the bulbs will be, they will bloom again next year.

It depends on how cold it gets. Snow itself, as long as the temperature doesn't drop below 28 degrees F. and stays that way for more that about 30 hours, it won't hurt them. As one of the other contributors has already mentioned, the bulbs will be protected at any rate.

The way we used to protect our orange trees in Florida when it was going to freeze, we used to turn on the sprinklers... If the temp drops below freezing and stays that way for a few hours, the ice will protect plants.... It sounds strange for sure, but the plants will not drop below 33 degrees if there is ice...
