The Constitution guarantees the freedom of speech but does that mean a zillionaire can spend billions to get his friends or lackys elected to public office. Should it take $200,000,000 + just to run for President and how can an honest and honorable candidate accumulate that kind of money without compromising their morals?

Pass a law that all news media must give equal time to all the candidates free of charge. Everyone must adhere to the time allowed & must stick to the issues without mud-slinging........dream on!

You will never see an honest and honorable candidate run for office. That's an oxymoron if anything. These politicians would put their wives on the corner to get elected.

Support the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform efforts

Senator John McCain from Arizona (R) and Senator Russ Feingold of Wisconsin (D) are working on a bi-partisan level to do exactly what you're talking about.

Join Russ Feingold's Progressive Patriots!
His group finances politicians across the country by asking for money from voters based on policies they support - not based on what some gazillionaire slimeball wants in terms of tax breaks for himself

TV stations should be required to give free air time to all candidates. Most money raised by candidates is used to pay for air time on television. If the stations had to give free air time, candidates would not need to raise nearly as much money.

Ban all political adds from all media. Mind you, not all forms of political expression, just anything urging you to vote for or against a given candidate.

That'd be a start, it's where most of those hundreds of millions are spent and spent /very/ effectively. It'd mean that some people would have trouble forming any kind of political viewpoint, though....

Don't believe the numbers. Clinton has padded her reports.
Obama has taken the Campaign Reform Act seriously. Not like her husband who wrote his own laws.
Google Clinton-Executive Orders
Senator John McCain lobbied the bill for years.
